Altes Mädchen (Old Girl)

In our brewery and restaurant, things are quite simply different—mouth-watering, freshly made... Our friends from the Altes Mädchen fulfilled a dream for themselves and for you. Weather permitting, you can sit outside on simple but comfortable benches and tables in the courtyard. Inside there is a fireplace—no less inviting—whether at seating islands both large and small or at the long bar. The service personnel know what's what and don't only take orders at the table.

As is only fitting, we have a menu that should the raise the pulse of every beer lover. In addition to our own Ratsherrn varieties, our beer sommeliers have also imported handcrafted beers from South Africa, Italy, Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, the USA, Franconia, Berlin and other places. More than 60 (!) other beers, by the way.

We’ve also given thought to hunger and how best to satisfy it. Regional classics and various bread – of course from our own wood oven guarantee that...Yummmm! Everything fresh. Everything delicious. Everything deliberate: because in choosing its ingredients, Alte Mädchen places emphasis on regional products, on gentle processing and a rational approach to the environment. The meat and other ingredients for the lunch menu, the Sunday morning pint or the sumptuous dinner menu are mainly orgainic quality from the LandWert farm in Stahlbrode across from Rügen Island.

So: Great delicacies and complete relaxation of unwanted Hanseatic formality. We eat here ourselves. Gladly and repeatedly.
